Is the plastic actually recycled, and where do the blocks go?Updated a month ago

Your SPC blocks are never landfilled or incinerated, and they don't enter municipal waste streams. The entire recycling chain is U.S.-based for full accountability. Here's the journey of every block:

  1. You compact your soft plastics into a clean, stackable block.
  2. You mail it with the prepaid label directly to our verified U.S. partners (for example, Frankfort Plastics Inc. in Indiana) — it never enters municipal waste streams.
  3. It's baled with other film and flexible plastics and reprocessed into clean pellets/feedstock.
  4. That feedstock is remade into durable goods like outdoor furniture and industrial supplies.

We don't landfill, incinerate, or export — keeping the process local eliminates the risk of waste being shipped overseas and gives a clear, verified outcome for every block. You can watch how it works in this short video: How Clear Drop recycling works.
